➤About the Costume

This is our most recent costume, recently debuted at Anime Boston 2013. The costume took us about two months to make (although it still needs more work!) and is about 90% handmade. We used Worbla for Dante's armor and foam for all the major props (the scythe, horn helmet, back piece). Beatrice's outfit was structured with two pairs of hoop skirts and sewn from various fabrics, from nylon to burlap. It was an awesome costume to put together and wear and we hope to keep refining it for the next few conventions we attend!
